A few Friday nights ago we were treated to some Northern Lights, something we don’t normally see in this neck of the woods. When I looked out my balcony I could see it faintly, but when I took out my phone/camera the aurora came out, kind of like a magic looking glass. (full disclosure: this picture has been edited a bit to pop the colours a little bit more)

Outside of admiring nature, life has been chugging along. From a personal point of view, there have been a few challenges come my way (a little overwhelming and somewhat paralyzing at times, but I’ve still got my head above water).

My son is graduating High School this year so that’s an exciting time. I’ve started looking for a new place for us to live. My goal was to move once my son was finished school. I am equally not looking forward to moving and excited about the prospect of living in a different place. The search has begun and it really is astounding how expensive everything is … wish me luck

I am still working on singing, although I haven’t posted anything for a while. There is something I’ve been working on over the past few months, and as it solidifies I will share more. I’d like to create more videos for YouTube but I’m having a challenge making time to record. I’ll probably have to put any recording on the backburner for a few months while I relocate.
