This song takes me back to my early 20’s when I was talking vocal lessons. I was experimenting more with the R&B, soul genres and loved singing this song. Starts off softly, almost introspectively … telling a story of young love. Then the passion shows through before the last chorus.

This song reached Top 10 on the Billboard top 100 charts in 1968.
